Speech Therapist
A qualified professional and member of a professional order, the speech therapist assesses speech, oral language, learning difficulties, makes a diagnosis, develops an intervention plan, and ensures follow-up.
Language Development Specialist
A trained professional who carries out stimulation activities and targeted exercises. They do not perform assessments and work according to a plan established under the supervision of a speech therapist.

Assessment
Following standardized tests, observations, and discussions, the speech therapist creates a profile of the patient’s oral and written language, speech, or mathematical cognition to identify their strengths and challenges.

Report Delivery and Intervention Plan
A clear and personalized report is prepared and presented to the patient or their family, accompanied by a speech therapy intervention plan to outline the objectives to work on and support progress at home, at school, or in the community. Following the report delivery, a referral for public services may be completed.

Intervention Sessions
Sessions tailored to the patient’s age, pace, and needs, focused on specific activities in language, speech, or mathematics, as well as games and collaborative interactions with family and external partners.
Ages 0 to 16 – Speech Therapy and Language Development
Children and Teenagers
We support children and young people who have difficulties with oral language, pronunciation, or learning (reading, spelling, mathematics).
Early Childhood Screening
Meeting with children under 3 years old for a clinical observation of language or communication difficulties, to support, advise, and guide you toward appropriate services.
Oral Language Assessment
Comprehensive analysis of oral comprehension and expression to determine the child’s strengths and specific needs.
Articulation / OMD Assessment
Assessment of sound pronunciation, facial structures (articulators), tongue positioning, and breathing to plan targeted interventions.
Written Language Assessment
Assessment of reading and spelling skills to identify a learning disorder (dyslexia-dysorthography) and provide a personalized intervention plan to support academic success.
Mathematical Cognition Assessment
Analysis of numeracy, calculation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills to identify a learning disorder in mathematics (dyscalculia) and develop a personalized intervention plan to support academic success.
Intervention
Personalized rehabilitation and stimulation sessions tailored to each child’s needs to improve communication and learning.
Childcare Setting
Interventions directly within childcare services to incorporate language development into the child’s daily routine.

Acquired Disorders
Assessment and intervention for language and communication difficulties following a stroke (CVA), traumatic brain injury (TBI), or neurodegenerative disease.

Through observation, discussion, and clinical tools, the psychoeducator evaluates the patient to create a profile highlighting their strengths and challenges, and develops an intervention plan.

Intervention Plan Proposal
A personalized intervention plan is proposed, with realistic objectives and concrete strategies to support the progress of the child or adult.

Intervention
According to the intervention plan, carried out through regular sessions, parent coaching, and the use of tools and strategies to improve the daily life of the patient and their family, with adjustments over time based on progress and the individual’s autonomy.

Assessment

Development of a simple and practical intervention plan, targeting realistic goals (autonomy, socialization, positive behaviors). If a psychoeducational assessment has already been completed, the intervention plan can be implemented.

Follow-up sessions with tailored activities, support for emotion and behavior management, family coaching, and collaboration with teachers or other professionals to promote overall development and foster autonomy.
